The last few weeks Room 2, Kahikatea house have been learning how to divide, subtract, multiply and add fractions. We also learnt how to find a fraction of a quantity. To show our progress we have filmed three students from Room 2 to show what they have learnt about fractions so far.

By doing these activities it has helped us with our Multiplication, Division, Addition and Subtraction. We have learnt how we could use this information in everyday life. We could use information when baking or when you are doing any type of building.
Our key Competencies that we achieved while doing this task were Thinking, Participating and Contributing because we all worked as a team.

Well done Blaise, Curtis, Mitchell & Sean. You have been working hard in Mathematics. Your explanations of both adding and dividing fractions was very clear displaying your understanding of the concepts. I will come in and quiz you tomorrow.
