The  L.I. for this was  "We are learning how to work as a team"

Earlier this week Kahikatea House showed their sporting skills during their house sport.  Daemon and I were given the opportunity to record our teammates and turned it into a video.

In these activities we learn't how to support our teammates and how to improve on our ball handling skills.

The Key Competencies we used for these activities were: Team work, Contributing, Participation and Relating to others.

Mathematics

The last few weeks Room 2, Kahikatea house have been learning how to divide, subtract, multiply and add fractions. We also learnt how to find a fraction of a quantity. To show our progress we have filmed three students from Room 2 to show what they have learnt about fractions so far.

LI: I am learning how to add fractions.
I am learning how to find a fraction of a quantity.
I am learning how to divide a fraction of a fraction.

By doing these activities it has helped us with our Multiplication, Division, Addition and Subtraction. We have learnt how we could use this information in everyday life. We could use information when baking or when you are doing any type of building.

Our key Competencies that we achieved while doing this task were Thinking, Participating and Contributing because we all worked as a team.
